It's disheartening to see how many students these days have completely zero school pride. They don't feel about their community, they don't get involved in programs, and they just seem uninterested. It's like they've lost sight of what it means to be part of a team and believe in their fellow students. This lack of enthusiasm is negative to the entire school atmosphere.

Man, this cap just won't cooperate! I've tried to adjust it, but it still feels tight. Maybe my head is just not meant for this. I guess it goes to show you that sometimes things don't work out.

Not My Alma Mater

When I hear the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't bring back feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a vague concept. Maybe because my years there were not like others, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to look back. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't hold the same meaning for me as it does for others.

It's not that I dislike my time at school. It was a valuable chapter, just not one that feels familiar in the way many people describe.

Perhaps it's because I found my passions away from the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are more focused on specific experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.

My Blood Flows Green

The realm doesn't understand that I ooze a different hue. They glare with fear as I display the fact of my nature. My life force is a sign of {somethingelse that they can't grasp. They categorize me as alien, but I am simply different.

The Concept of School Spirit? Nah

Seriously, school/the whole idea of/that thing they call "school spirit/spirit week/pep rallies" is about as appealing/relevant/interesting here to me as a moldy sandwich/root canal/trip to the dentist. I'd rather be practicing my guitar/reading a good book/taking a nap than wearing a ridiculous costume and screaming at some game I couldn't care less about. I value knowledge, not glorified cheering.

  • My teachers/My friends/Even my family all think I'm weird/missing out/crazy, but whatever. Their enthusiasm is contagious.

Here For All The Snacks

Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven. Give me chips and dip any day! I totally prioritize/live for/am here for those snacks/ goodies/ bites that make a gathering/ hangout/ party truly unforgettable.
